Overseas Study Opportunities for Doctoral (Doctoral Course) Students
This program is designed to develop researchers with strong communication skills and a global perspective, capable of contributing to the international academic community, through research activities conducted in overseas laboratories—such as engaging in joint research and acquiring experimental techniques.
Doctoral students (Ph.D. candidates in the latter half of the program) at our university are eligible to receive guidance from overseas research supervisors who have ongoing academic collaboration with our faculty and are willing to host students from an educational standpoint.
Eligibility
Doctoral students (Ph.D. candidates in the latter stage of the program) whose primary academic advisor is affiliated with our university.
Note: This program is not open to working professionals or international students who enrolled directly from undergraduate programs (i.e., not continuing from a degree program within this university).
Study Abroad Period
Approximately 2 to 6 months (with flexible arrangements depending on the content of the research).
Destination
Overseas universities, research institutions, or corporate research laboratories.
Financial support
(1)Round-trip economy-class airfare, per diem, and actual accommodation costs for the dispatched student, in accordance with university regulations.
(2)
Round-trip economy-class airfare, per diem, and actual accommodation costs for the student’s academic advisor when visiting the host institution, in accordance with university regulations.
Number of Grant Recipients
Approximately 10 students (subject to change depending on budget availability).

Application Deadline
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; there is no fixed deadline.
