2022-03-23 Karate Club

Today, I was shown the activities of the "Karate Club" at the martial arts hall!
TUAT 's karate club is a very unique club activity that aims for soft karate, such as not using force and not stiffening the body.
One is active five days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at both the Fuchu and Koganei campuses.
Participation is from 0 to 5 days a week, so each person can practice at their own pace, making it easy to work!
The first photo is of a mobile rehearsal.
Imagining an imaginary enemy, the ``Uke'', ``Kick'', and ``Push'' are all powerful!
The second photo is a practice called Promise Kumite, in which pairs perform prescribed attack and defense movements.
One who repeats practical movements and studies how to use the body effectively every day!
Once the coronavirus infection subsides, this contact-type training will likely resume. I'm looking forward to it!
As you can see in the third photo, there are many bright and humorous people in the karate club!
Through a wide variety of events such as training camps, judging sessions, and trips, the karate club creates a warm relationship between classmates, seniors, and juniors, so you can enjoy your school life!
If you would like to introduce our daily activities, ask questions, or request a tour, please use the karate club Twitter (https://twitter.com/tuat_karate) or Instagram (@tuat_karate).
In addition, the history of the karate club over the years is introduced along with photos on the official karate club website (https://tuatkaratedoubu.wixsite.com/tuatkarate).
One is recruiting members regardless of department or grade! Please feel free to contact us!
